Violent Muslim Homophobia - The Jihad against Gays and Lesbians

Hanged for being gay

Can we talk about Muslim homophobia now?

Posted by Johann Hari

"Last autumn, mysterious posters began to appear all over the East End of London announcing it is now a "Gay-Free Zone." They warned: "And Fear Allah: Verily Allah is Severe in Punishment." One of them was plastered outside the apartment block I lived in for nearly ten years, next to adverts for club nights and classes at the local library, as if it was natural and normal. I'd like to say I'm shocked - but anybody who lives there knows this has been a long time coming.

Here's a few portents from the East End that we have chosen to ignore. In May 2008, a 15 year old Muslim girl tells her teacher she thinks she might be gay, and the Muslim teacher in a state-funded comprehensive tells her "there are no gays round here" and she will "burn in hell" if she ever acts on it. (I know because she emailed me, suicidal and begging for help). In September 2008, a young gay man called Oliver Hemsley, is walking home from the gay pub the George and Dragon when a gang of young Muslims stabs him eight times, in the back, in the lungs, and in his spinal column. In January 2010, when the thug who did it is convicted, a gang of thirty Muslims storms the George and Dragon in revenge and violently attacks everybody there. All through, it was normal to see young men handing out leaflets outside the Whitechapel Ideas Store saying gays are "evil." Most people accept them politely.

These are not isolated incidents. East London has seen the highest increase in homophobic attacks anywhere in Britain, and some of the worst in Europe. Everybody knows why, and nobody wants to say it. It is because East London has the highest Muslim population in Britain, and we have allowed a fanatically intolerant attitude towards gay people to incubate there, in the name of "tolerance". The most detailed opinion survey of British Muslims was carried out by Gallup, who correctly predicted the result of the last general election. In their extensive polling, they found literally no British Muslims who would say homosexuality is "morally acceptable." Every one of the Muslims they polled objected to it. Even more worryingly, younger Muslims had more stridently anti-gay views than older Muslims. These attitudes have consequences - and they are worst of all for gay Muslims, who have to live a sham half-life of lies, or be shunned by their families.

No, Muslims are not the only homophobes among us. But the gap between them and the rest is startling. It's zero percent of British Muslims vs. 58 percent of other Brits who say we are acceptable.... More

Muslims use internet to track, torture and kill gays

How Islamist gangs use internet to track, torture and kill Iraqi gays
Iraqi militias infiltrate internet gay chatrooms to hunt their quarry – and hundreds are feared to be victims

Sitting on the floor, wearing traditional Islamic clothes and holding an old notebook, Abu Hamizi, 22, spends at least six hours a day searching internet chatrooms linked to gay websites. He is not looking for new friends, but for victims.

"It is the easiest way to find those people who are destroying Islam and who want to dirty the reputation we took centuries to build up," he said. When he finds them, Hamizi arranges for them to be attacked and sometimes killed.

Hamizi, a computer science graduate, is at the cutting edge of a new wave of violence against gay men in Iraq. Made up of hardline extremists, Hamizi's group and others like it are believed to be responsible for the deaths of more than 130 gay Iraqi men since the beginning of the year alone.

The deputy leader of the group, which is based in Baghdad, explained its campaign using a stream of homophobic invective. "Animals deserve more pity than the dirty people who practise such sexual depraved acts," he told the Observer. "We make sure they know why they are being held and give them the chance to ask God's forgiveness before they are killed."

[...]

The killings are brutal, with victims ritually tortured. Azhar al-Saeed's son was one. "He didn't follow what Islamic doctrine tells but he was a good son," she said. "Three days after his kidnapping, I found a note on my door with blood spread over it and a message saying it was my son's purified blood and telling me where to find his body."

She went with police to find her son's remains. "We found his body with signs of torture, his anus filled with glue and without his genitals," she said. "I will carry this image with me until my dying day."

Wave of Homophobia Sweeps the Muslim World
From http://www.spiegel.de/international/world/0,1518,647913,00.html

"In most Islamic countries, gay men and women are ostracized, persecuted and in some cases even murdered. Repressive regimes are often fanning the flames of hatred in a bid to outdo Islamists when it comes to spreading "moral panic."

[...]

In Baghdad a new series of murders began early this year, perpetrated against men suspected of being gay. Often they are raped, their genitals cut off, and their anuses sealed with glue. Their bodies are left at landfills or dumped in the streets. The non-profit organization Human Rights Watch, which has documented many of these crimes, has spoken of a systematic campaign of violence involving hundreds of murders

[...]

Gay rights organizations estimate that more than 100,000 gay men and women are currently being discriminated against and threatened in Muslim countries. Thousands of them commit suicide, end up in prison, or go into hiding.

Lesbian girl brutalised by Muslim family and forced into marriage
"I took off my hijab, and I threw it on the floor and my brother got really mad. It's the worst thing I could have done to offend my religion, aside from burn or tear the Koran.

"My mother, she kind of stood still, and started listening, and it was very liberating that she finally wanted to hear what I had to say.

"I told her about my sexuality and I said 'that's right, I do meet girls, and I love it' and I told her that she had been hurting me really badly, and I will never forgive her."

Now 20, Reviva - not her real name - recounts the day she finally came out to her family, her pupils flash and the flat, matter-of-fact delivery of her story-telling becomes briefly animated.

This, you realise, is the pivotal moment in a disturbing journey of self-discovery which encompasses family estrangement, exorcism, and attempted suicide.

Like hundreds of young men and women in Britain, Reviva was forced into marriage in spite of her sexual orientation, and still carries deep psychological scars from years of torment at the hands of her parents.

The government's Forced Marriage Unit (FMU) has received hundreds of calls from young gay men and women - mainly men - who fear they are going to be forced into marriage by their family, against their will.

It was always kisses in the playground, and kisses in the gym. With girls it was always perfect. It was always nice. It wasn't something I was ashamed of. It was beautiful”

This year, the FMU has dealt with 29 confirmed cases of forced marriage involving gay men and women. Last year, the unit offered support and advice to nearly 1,700 cases in total.

Just how many of those involved lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) victims is unknown, because not everyone is willing to divulge their sexuality. However, it is thought this emerging trend is just the tip of the iceberg, as more gay men and women seek assistance.

When arranging to interview her for 5 live Investigates, we asked Reviva if she would like to bring a friend for support. But this attractive student, with a hint of Goth, opts to come alone, preferring to keep even her closest friends in the dark about her troubled past.

As she admits, "I'm unable to show emotion, I'm unable to trust people. The only person I really trust is myself. I am unable to be vulnerable with a person, I'm unable to feel a lot of things."

Born in the Middle East, but schooled in Britain, Reviva's difficulties began in adolescence when she became aware of being attracted to girls rather than boys.

"The first kiss I had, I was around 12," she recalls.

"It was always kisses in the playground, and kisses in the gym. With girls it was always perfect. It was always nice. It wasn't something I was ashamed of. It was beautiful."

Aware that her parents had deep religious and cultural objections to homosexuality, Reviva gently tried to make them aware of her situation, but was quickly rebuffed:

Hypermasculine Muslims - Islam and hypermasculinity
Most religions have a softer feminine aspect (eg Virgin Mary, Arya Tara) but all trace of the feminine has been eradicated from Islam to give something which is consequently only half human.

Predatory and domineering, Islam is a brutal, hypermasculine, barbarian, tribal warrior cult that glories in murder, mutilation, rape, genocide, terrorism, destruction and anarchy. Women, girls and all the feminine aspects human nature are chattelised and subjugated. Weakness is despised and seen as ripe for predation.

A woman or girl is to be owned, not treated as an equal. If she punctures the fragile inflated ego of her owner, then she must be killed to restore the man's 'honour' among his peers. Kuffar women and children are war booty.

Islam is bullying, swaggering, predatory,wife-beating thuggery, which is the destroyer of all that is beautiful, spiritual, gentle, innocent and vulnerable. http://crombouke.blogspot.com/2010/01/islam-and-hypermasculinity.html

Liberal gays afraid to tell the truth about Muslim homophobia
From http://www.jihadwatch.org/2009/07/liberal-gays-afraid-to-tell-the-truth-about-muslim-homophobia.html

"We have noted this many times here. Gay rights advocates make a huge issue of Christian opposition to gay marriage, while remaining indifferent to the Islamic jihad -- or, if they care about the jihad, many are still willing to throw overboard allies who may not be in lockstep with their social agenda. The fact that the Islamic jihadists, once in power, will treat gays far more harshly than Christian conservatives ever dreamed of doing doesn't seem to enter into their calculations.

Over the past week there’s been a scrap going on between the political parties as to who is the gay-friendlier. Interesting to gays probably, very boring for everyone else. But there is one aspect to all of this which still goes largely ignored - for reasons, no doubt, of “cultural sensitivity” - and that is the effect that the long march of multiculturalism has had on this whole issue. Basically it comes down to this question: how do you celebrate and respect cultures and religions which think you are an abomination?

It’s a tricky one for the bien pensants and their political spokesman. I had the chance to find out quite how tricky when I went to a political event last week organised by the gay networking group Jake at the National Portrait Gallery, held to mark the opening of its Gay Icons exhibition (an odd collection, this. Madonna sure. But Nelson Mandela?). Nicholas Boles and Nick Herbert for the Tories and Ben Bradshaw and Chris Bryant for Labour (plus some anonymous bloke from the Lib Dems) vied with each other for the votes of an audience of 150 or so gay men.

When question time came around, I made the point to the panel that a recent survey by Policy Exchange had showed that 72 per cent of young Muslim men thought that homosexuality should be recriminalised. As the Channel 4 Dispatches programme on Mosques showed last year, there are some pretty disturbing things being said by some Imans about what is best for gays, ie death. Given the rapidly increasing proportion of the population which is Muslim, did they not think that there might be some possible problem in the future?

Needless to say this was neatly side-stepped. Or should I say, not really answered at all. Nick Herbert made the point that we should be careful not to generalise about the whole Muslim population (72 per cent seems pretty general to me). Immediately the issue was turned into something else, in a way we’re all too familiar with, which is how important it is not to demonise Islam.

There are major double standards going on here. I’m not remotely religious, but I can see how it’s considered perfectly legitimate to demonise the whole of the Catholic Church, say, or even Christianity in general. But when it comes to Islam, everybody gets very tongue-tied.

The reason is clear: the old liberal narrative insisted that all minorities had things in common. They were all united in a rainbow coalition in opposition to what the Americans call “The Man”. They were all victims...."

Muslim pack mentality
Jihadists have a predatory pack-animal mentality. They will only attack when they outnumber and/or are physically stronger than their prey. We have seem this in the numerous attacks by gangs of Muslim men on individual kuffar boys, such as Kriss Donald and Henry Webster... http://isupporttheresistance.blogspot.com/2008/06/where-is-kriss-donald-memorial-centre.html and http://swindonnationalists.blogspot.com/2008/01/update-on-wroughton-hammer-attack-boy.html

For the same reason, because they are seen as vulnerable and defenceless, homosexuals are also a favorite prey of jihadist gangs...

"THE East End’s gay community has declared ‘enough is enough’ after a young man was left fighting for his life following a brutal homophobic stabbing by a gang of youths.

A 20-year-old, known as Olly, was stabbed seven times in the back and chest, outside a gay-friendly pub this week.

He remains in a critical condition in hospital and police have launched an attempted murder investigation.

Both Bethnal Green and Bow MP George Galloway and Abjol Miah, the leader of the Respect group at Tower Hamlets council, have called for all communities to condemn last week’s attack in Boundary Street.

With 47 homophobic attacks in Tower Hamlets over the last 12 months, one man called the Advertiser to say: “It’s time we stood up for ourselves. I’m fed up with people almost excusing this kind of violence.”

Police have branded last Thursday’s assault as “evil” and are treating it as homophobic. Cops believe the 20-year-old had been walking to the gay-friendly George and Dragon pub in Hackney Road with a woman when he was attacked at the junction of Boundary Street and Austin Street in Shoreditch onThursday.

He was hounded by a group of around five teenage boys, hit over the head with a glass bottle then stabbed seven times in the back and chest. He underwent life-saving surgery at Whitechapel’s Royal London Hospital on Friday morning.

The stabbing is also being linked to an assault in the same area 24 hours before in which a man and woman were both attacked and were kicked and punched by a group of youths.

Det Insp Howard Way, of Tower Hamlets police, condemned the attack as “evil”, but although it was being treated as a homophobic crime, he was keeping an open mind about motive.

Three men have been arrested, but police refused to give any details about their backgrounds.

MP George Galloway said: “This is a sickening and vile assault that I am sure will unite the diverse community of Tower Hamlets in condemnation. “A near fatal knife attack by a group of people on a defenceless man is horrific enough. The fact that this also appears to be a homophobic hate crime compounds the evil.

“There is a rich and tolerant mix in Tower Hamlets. It’s one of the good things about our borough, and I am determined to keep it that way. Everyone needs to accept that people are different.”

His Respect colleague Cllr Miah added: “There is no justification, in any language or any belief, for savagely setting upon a young man like this.” The gay community has grown in Bethnal Green and Shoreditch over recent years and Alan Booth, 45, who lives in Columbia Road, said it was time to fight back against homophobic violence.

He said: “It has just got worse and worse around here—it’s left people frightened to go out. The problem is with a minority of Bengali youth: but that minority is significant.

“Just because we’re gay doesn’t mean we aren’t men. It’s time we stood up for ourselves. I’m fed up with people excusing this kind of violence and the gay community are as guilty as anyone else in that.

“It’s time we got some intelligent, sensible people together to discuss what we can do to make it safer for the gay community and for everyone in Shoreditch.” http://www.eastlondonadvertiser.co.uk/content/towerhamlets/advertiser/news/story.aspx?brand=ELAOnline&category=news&tBrand=northlondon24&tCategory=newsela&itemid=WeED03%20Sep%202008%2020%3A44%3A41%3A983

AND

"The [Muslim] gang drew up in a car when they spotted two men walking home along Hackney-road two years ago after a night out and hurled homophobic abuse at them in the mistaken belief they were gay.

The thugs then launched a vicious attack, stabbing one of the men in the leg and hitting him over the head with a wheel brace.

The second man was attacked when he went to help his friend. Both later needed hospital treatment.

The thugs then drove off, but a passer-by took down the registration number and police were alerted.

Their car was stopped by police in Holloway-road three hours later and the four were arrested.

Det Sgt Sarah Whittle from Bethnal Green CID, who led the hunt for the gang, said after the case: "This was a cowardly and vicious attack on two defenseless men who had enjoyed a night out.

"The attack was all the more serious in that it was motivated by homophobia.

Train station gang assault was homophobic attack
"A teenager suffered a broken nose during a homophobic gang attack outside Rochdale train station. The 17-year-old smashed his head on the kerb and blacked out during the attack as a gang of 10 men shouted homophobic insults and laughed as they stamped on his head and kicked and punched him in the face.

A 19-year-old friend, who was also attacked but uninjured, managed to break free from the gang and ran for help.He climbed into a taxi and pleaded with the driver to do something, but the driver demanded that he got out the cab and then locked the doors.

The gang fled leaving their victim dripping with blood. The friends tried to get another taxi to take them to the police station, but the driver refused to pick them up.

Eventually they walked to a pub in Drake Street where they were collected by a family member and driven to the police station. After giving a statement to police he spent all night in the hospital undergoing brain scans and x-rays. He said: "We saw the gang on the road and they started shouting homophobic abuse.

"We started to run, but then they got me. They smashed my head on the kerb, breaking my nose and bruising my eye sockets.

"Then they started jumping on my head. I don't remember much after that - I must have blacked out.

"I came round and they were jumping on my arms.

"Then they said right, go now, go now - but that was just a joke and they just started again.

"I was shaking and vomiting at the police station and spent all night in hospital.

"I've got a badly bruised jaw and my arms are sprained - they may be broken.

"I've tried leaving the house since by myself, but I couldn't. I've been into the town centre with my dad for half an hour, but I got scared and had to come back.

"I'm completely shocked by what's happened."

Police have confirmed they are investigating the assault, which took place at 9.40pm on Saturday March 20 in Maclure Road as a hate crime. Detective Sergeant Lee Hopwood, of the hate crime unit at Rochdale, said: "This was a deliberate and cowardly attack on a teenage boy by a large group of men.

"The victim suffered a prolonged attack and was kicked and punched whilst on the ground. I would urge anyone who saw what happened or knows who is responsible to contact police."

The gang is described as 10 Asian [British PC term for Muslims behaving badly] men in their 20s.

Islamists in East London have sparked anger after flyposting stickers which called for a gay-free zone.
The stickers were distributed around the Whitechapel, Shoreditch and Poplar areas over the weekend. Specifically, they were targeted at schools and pubs, including the gay-friendly George and Dragon.

The professionally produced, anonymous stickers say: “Arise and Warn. Gay free zone. Verily Allah is severe in punishment.”

The 'Gay free zone' slogan is within a diagonal bar across a rainbow flag.

Equality campaigner Peter Tatchell – who has been attacked by Muslim groups three times in the capital – condemned the behaviour.

He said: "These stickers are part of a trend by Islamists and fundamentalists to target LGBT people. It is happening at universities and in communities. The main victims of this hate-mongering are LGBT Muslims.

"A venue attached to the East London mosque hosted a speaker who invited his audience to: 'Spot the fag.' There have been a series of homophobic threats and assaults by Asian youths on LGBT people in the East End over recent years.

"I’ve been attacked by Muslim youths three times in and around Brick Lane. In all three attacks, the assailants shouted religious slogans. My LGBT Muslim friends who live in the area are nervous and anxious. They fear attack and dare not reveal their sexuality.

"Only last week there were reports of threats being sent by Islamists to gay students at South Bank University. LGBT History Month posters have been defaced by extremist Muslim students. Several universities have hosted hate preachers who endorse the killing of LGBT people.

“I appeal to Muslim religious and political leaders in East London to speak out against homophobia. We need a clear statement from the leader of Tower Hamlets council and from the senior imam at the East London Mosque. They should publicly condemn homophobia and call for tolerance within the Muslim community.

“Both homophobia and anti-Muslim bigotry are wrong. Our communities know the pain of prejudice. LGBT and Muslim people should stand together, united against hate," he added.

The PinkPaper.com reader who alerted us to the story confirmed that Tower Hamlets council, which is headed by a Muslim, have removed all of the stickers are working with the police to identify the perpetrators.

It comes just a week after a number of Islamic men were arrested for distributing leaflets which suggested gay people should suffer the death penalty.

"A minority of homophobes blinded by their hate and closed minded views are trying to gain power and wider voice by publicly putting up banners targeting the LGBT community," said Ali Hilli of Iraqi LGBT.

"This small group of narrow minded people do not represent Islam or the Muslim community. In fact, a sentiment of rejection and condemnation for such a small group is growing among all Muslims. It is our duty to stop them and stand up to them whether we are Muslims, Jews or Christians."

A spokesperson for Tower Hamlets council told us: “We work hard to actively foster a climate of acceptance and tolerance, and combat all forms of discrimination and harassment within the borough. We are appalled by the actions of those who have produced and posted these stickers. We treat issues like this very seriously, and these incidents are being investigated by the borough's Hate Crime Team who are working alongside the local police."

I would rather sit on a dildo and pleasure my own gay tendencies then to have a man mount me from behind, because that is homosexuality. But to pleasure myself in secret is actually masterbation of the anus. As would be of penis if I did that too. But using a dildo is far from being gay, it is actually better to use that instead of being mounted on by another man. Anyways thats something my Mulla told me, when he found out that I had gay tendencies.

The hypocrisy in America is laughable. While we claim to be a free society, we have allowed a sex crime witch-hunt to flourish that has virtually obliterated the constitution. We must protect the children by restoring the constitution and stop putting people in prison for trivial offences. While sex can be frightening, we must not be afraid of the new scientific research. Researchers at Columbia University and the New York State Psychiatric Institute, have demonstrated that losing your virginity at a later age causes sexual dysfunction. Waiting until 21 or later radically increases the likelihood of sexual dysfunction. This study was in the January 2008 issue of the American Journal of Public Health. In most parts of Europe, child pornography is not actively prosecuted. Still, we must protect the children but declaring them “sex offenders” for playing doctor or taking pictures is just wrong. Why is it that ANONYMOUS' entry in here is entered anonymously; refusing to give his name. Is he afraid that his own people will persecute him ?
ANONYMOUS, make up your mind whether it is "racism" or "Islamophobia", or is it that people just see it for what it is, Islams liking pedarasty, especially your Imams while acting manly by persecuting gays in their own country and abroad.
By the way, which kind of dildo you admitted to use, that one that looks like an arm with a closed fist (in black colour)???

I'm gay myself, and I think what the muslims do is wrong and should be punished, but aren't we better than that? Stating that their religion is a cult and evil is exactly the kind of thing we're trying to stop happening to us. This post was filled with very enlightening things, but I think it was wrong for you to put 'Islam is a brutal, hypermasculine, barbarian, tribal warrior cult that glories in murder, mutilation, rape, genocide, terrorism, destruction and anarchy'and other such items, is making you just as bad as them.

Is the pious, public, anti-gay violence just a response to the fact that all muslim boys are raped and then spend the rest of their lives acting as if they reject what was done to them...yet they turn around and do it to a new generation of boys?

All muslims are "gay" but with severe rules...no beards, sinner-catchers, boys fair game...

so are these ones that are hung, are they the ones who broke the rules and need public chastising to make sure everyone else obeys the rules?

Arrow Financial Services belongs to a larger group called Asset Performance Group. Both are a part of Sallie- Mae family of companies. Arrow Financial Services has its regional office in Niles, Illinois. Arrow Financial is essentially a third party debt collection agency. It deals with unpaid debts on behalf of other companies.

Being a debt collection agency is definitely not one of the easiest things to do. This is especially true in USA, where debt collection agencies have earned quite a reputation for themselves.

But there is no one else to blame for this state of affairs, other than the debt collection agencies themselves. Can they expect a positive response to all the negativity that they continue to churn out in to the world? Law of Nature states otherwise!

Lose weight said...

With obesity predicted to affect more than 50 percent of the population in the next 40 years, the age of ‘fad diets’ and ‘quick weight loss’ has boomed to epic proportions. From the apple cider diet to the Quantum Wellness, to the 48 Hour Miracle diet, each of these weight loss programs all claim to promote immediate weight loss and increased vitality.
This is simply not correct. Fruits, veggies, whole grain, nut products, dried beans as well as oils, many include proteins. Meats in fact has high levels of sodium, fat and salt, particularly in red meat which is not so healthy due to its high levels of cholesterol. Whole grain, nuts, oils, and dried beans in fact onsist of more proteins than in meat products. Your own body requires at least 25 grams of protein per day ,so it is obvious you do not haveto eat only meat to obtain your day-to-day allowance.
